The cost of an appointment with Deirdre is as follows:
Full fees
Standard 50 minute consultation $205
Out of pocket expense with Medicare Rebate $63.15
Concession rate
Standard 50 minute consultation $175
Out of pocket expense with Medicare Rebate $33.15

You do not need a referral to see Deirdre as a private client, however please check to see if are eligible for rebates which will reduce your out of pocket expense. See below to see of you are eligible for a rebate.
Medicare Rebate

To receive a medicare rebate you must be referred by you GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist. Your referrer will need to complete a detailed mental health assessment and prepare a Mental Health Treatment Plan. You should book a longer session with your GP to enable time for this. Please make sure your referral is eligible for rebate before attending your session.

Private Health Rebate

You may be entitled to a rebate under your Private Health Insurance Policy. The amount rebated will vary between health funds, so please check with your provider and determine whether they will provide rebates for the services before your session.
Workcover , TAC, DVA and VOCAT

Cancellation Policy

To ensure that Deirdre is able to provide the best care to her clients, this cancellation policy is in place to allow us to offer the appointment to another client who may be on the cancellation list awaiting an appointment.

We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled appointment without occurring a cancellation fee. Cancellations within 24 hours or non attendance will be charged $141.85.

We understand that sometimes due to sudden illness or unexpected personal emergency you may not be able to keep an appointment. Please let us know as soon as possible if this happens.
